iOptron CEM70G iGuider is not recognized by windows10

Post by Agnes »

Hi guys,

I am wondering if there is somebody who could help me out:

Beginning of this year I purchased an iOptron CEM 70G mount. Setup was rather easy and everything was working. I updated the mount firmware only because I needed to buy a converter to be able to connect the hand control to the laptop.
The mount has a built-in iGuider guider scope and a polar align camera, both was recognized by the laptop although at that time I did not use de iGuider.
Recently I updated every firmware (inclusive the HC) and got newer version of all controlling software's as well. Since than my laptop can not recognize the iGuider. It does show two cameras, and iPolar is correctly in the Device Manager but instead of the iGuder I get a camera with a complete different name and the guider software cannot connect to it even if I choose the right one from the option list.
I tried to search for similar problems on the internet, no result so far. I also sent an email to Tech support but no answer (yet)

Is there anybody who has experience with iGuider and have some ideas what could solve this?

Thanks in advance and clear sky!
