I have Hutech and Takahashi abbes that are just outstanding. Only exceeded by Tak TOE lenses, but only by a little bit. With the passing of circleT, was wondering about Fujiyama. Agena Astro had them on sale for $90, so got 2, a 4 and 5mm.

Tonite on Mars tried them all out and was surprised to see the Fuji 4mm was exactly the same as the Hutech 4mm, same focus point, no adjustment needed when swapping between the two. Same details revealed on Mars. So yes the orthos all appear to be Masuyama made.

The eye lens of the orthos is only 3mm. The Tak TOE is 9mm diameter and a 52 degree field with a little more eye relief to see whole field. At 3 times the cost of the orthos you really pay a price for just a little more visual performance.
Arizona- where the sky's are not cloudy all night.

Triple lensed fracs are so yummy when looking at planets.

There has been speculation if they are being made by the grandson of Dr. Masuyama-San but no conclusive proof.
Whoever it is, they are doing a fine job of it.
Some nice refractors, eyepieces, mounts and related equipment
The only culture I have is from yogurt
