M45 in less than optimal conditions

#1

Post by Jockinireland »

So last night was the quintessential West Of Ireland imaging Session - three diffrent forcasters giving 3 different forecasts, and a night spent dodging clouds. i ended up losing a good 20% of subs to clouds but at least I got out.

This is a IP because I have some shorter subs that I want to put in as HDR and this ended up a pretty half hearted effort. But it is an image pulled from pretty poor skys so I ok with it.

About 4 hours i think, SW 80ED, EOS700D 180s @ISO800

C&C welcome and appreciated as always.

Yes we did indeed - between the cloudy spells and rain squalls. Doolin is lovely, and the cliffs are spectacular.

My niece Chloe said they did a three-hour hike out around the cliffs today, and saw a few rainbows courtesy of the sun/rain squalls. She sent me some gorgeous photos. I was hoping to visit her and her husband this year, but of course that wasn’t possible. Maybe next year.
