Mars opposition tonight!
We still have a few weeks of good Mars views ahead, but it is the largest and brightest tonight. Take a look if you can.
Scopes: Stellarvue: SV102ED; Celestron: 9.25" EdgeHD, 8" SCT, 150ST, Onyx 80ED; iOptron: Hankmeister 6" Mak; SW: 7" Mak; Meade: 80ST.

Clouds all over. Mars is only barely visible through the clouds with big binoculars or telescope. Pity. Tomorrow maybe better.
Correction: Through a hole in the clouds Mars showed himself for a short while. I rushed out wit my GandG. Seeing was not great, but at least I can say that I saw Mars at opposition!

Didn't see you already replied. See my correction in the former post.
Meanwhile Mars showed himself during ten minutes or so, so I rushed out with my 10cm MAK. 10 minutes is a bit short, even in an insulated MAK, for the image to really calm down. I did see some details though.
