Stupid nova in Scutum...
Unbelievable... so AAVSO has the notice about the new nova... I try to plot a 5 archmin fov for it on their plotter... says there are no stars in 5 archmin!! And I had planned to narrow it down to my 1.5 archmin fov afterwards... What do you mean there are no stars in a 5 archmin fov in Scutum? Can anyone say anything on the topic? Better yet, get a good chart for my fov maybe?
