SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Launch this afternoon.

#1

Post by Makuser »

Hi all. Not much to show today. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch was scrubbed yesterday when a helicopter was flying into the "no fly" zone. However, It went off today but I only got one shot before it disappeared into my local cloud cover. I waited around a bit, as the booster was going to land back on the launch pad instead of the barge out in the ocean. I heard it's re-entry sonic boom but saw nothing. So, here is all that I have have to show for today:

Thanks very much for posting, Marshall!

Too bad it was so clouded over, but it must be exciting to witness launches like this regardless.
Can you tell differences between the different boosters when they launch by their sound?

Thanks again!
