A 1980s computer? Well, if they had used 1960s-70s technology, it just might still be running (like some of our most distant space probes still are).
On the other hand, if they use technology from ~2020s, it will probably only last a year or so (i.e., until the warranty expires).

Sure Hope fix is successful -
NSA transfered 2 spy telescopes to Nasa several years ago -
things Ive read says these telescopes would work well as replacement for Hubble -
