SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Launch Saturday evening

#1

Post by Makuser »

Here are some photos I took from my backyard of the SpaceX Falcon 9 launch. It was carrying the Capella Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite and Tyvak-0130.
The good news is that the launch was a success and was the 8th launch of the Falcon 9 booster B1058. The bad news is that it included 52 more Starlink satellites.

And after booster stage separation:
Launch4 5-15-21.JPG
I have missed some launches lately, as they were night launches and my old camera doesn't focus as well in the dark, so I hope you enjoy these photos.

That's amazing Marshall; great shots! I'd love to see a rocket launch, especially from my backyard like you

Thanks for sharing that and all the best,
