Designated as object 2020 SO, the item is now believed to be a rocket booster from NASA’s Surveyor 2 mission which crash landed on the Moon in 1966 during the Apollo-era of the Cold War’s space race."

Hi Stephen. Wow, after all of these years, we could be seeing the 1966 NASA’s Surveyor 2 mission rocket booster heading back toward earth. Of course, there is also the possibility that it could be an asteroid. In either case, this is very interesting Stephen, so thanks for finding and sharing this news link with us on here.
