October target suggestions.
I would like to suggest the Lunar Craters, Theopholis, Plato, and Pythagoras.
I propose these three as they may reveal on or close to the terminator as the moon waxes and wanes through the month of October.

Re: October target suggestions.
I plan on traveling to a bortle 2/dark blue site before the end of the month. Will be staying up late to observe nebula east of Orion.
NGC 2174 Monkey Head Nebula
IC 443 Jelly Fish Nebula
NGC 2170 Angel Nebula
M78 Ghost Nebula
NGC 2261 Hubble's Variable Nebula
NGC 2264 Christmas Tree Cluster/ Cone Nebula
NGC 2244 Rosette Nebula
Will be using 20x80 binoculars that have no filter threads. Will also be using my 120mm f8 refractor. What one filter would you use for these nebula, name and brand? Will be using/purchasing theGSO 8x50 finder to help me locate these nebula, on a dual mount with a red dot finder.

Close to Spruce Knob, may not need a nebula filter.
I hope you have good weather Refractordude.
