M27 from Kent, UK, 22/08/19 at 23:30 BST.
Celestron 9.25 STC, CGX Unguided, Canon 600D
ATP Capture, 40 x 30s lights, 20 darks, 30 bias. Stacked in DSS, Processed in Gimp.

40 subs is a bit light and the splodge on the right might have got sorted with some flat frames and my collimation appears to be a bit out. But I'm fairly happy with it.

Nice image sir!

I have downloaded your image. In Star Tools, I reversed your stretch, applied a wipe and then restretched, did a color balance and a noise reduction (due to my stretching). I was able to bring out a little more color. I will post here with your kind permission, sir, if you are interested.

I believe your first image is in PNG format, so that definitely helped. And it is your image, so you use it as you see fit.

If you post a link (via dropbox or other file sharing platform to the TIFF file), I don't mind having a go at it. If that is of interest to you.

I like your second image too! You are definitely starting to pull out the color!

I also use StarTools and I can tell you from personal experience that you'll get much better images when processing with StarTools. It really is amazing the difference in using one form of processing instead of another.
