Well this is a bit of a cheat really. Circumstances, clouds, weekend working and having to get up early have kept me away from my telescope in May. And now we have the builders in so we're staying down the caravan, the telescope has been put away in the loft. I have imaged 2 of the 5 May targets as part of my
Messier quest. I have to confess I rushed through the list of
Messier targets last year with the emphasis on quantity rather than quality!
M3. This was April 2020. 4 stacked images 1600iso 10s, 20s, 30s and 40s. 9 day old Moon. Not sure of the reason for the green hue.
M53. 16/03/20. Single capture using my Canon D600 on the 80mm guide scope.
According to my weather forecast this weekend is going to be good and my binoculars are with me at the caravan. Might try some binocular glob hunting.
Regards
Graeme
