Thank you Graeme

I wish I knew how to get rid of the reddish glow that appears on the right hand side from light pollution.

Could you tweak it down with a colour balance adjustment with a layer mask to keep the pink star forming regions?

Or leave it as it is, it looks good to me!

Regards

Graeme

Very nice image Steve. I have annotated your image with all the HII and star cloud regions within M33 that appear in the NGC/IC. There are many other such objects in the image that are were identified by R.M. Humphrey and A. Sandage in a 1980 paper. I did not include any of those to keep the labeling clutter down. Regarding the NGC/IC objects, they were all discovered visually during the 19th century. This includes NGC 603, which is actually a close triple star misidentified as nebulous by Lord Rosse. As a curiosity object, I also labeled the brightest globular within the galaxy, C39, which appears as a 16th mag star.

Hope you enjoy seeing some of the objects within the primary object of your image. :)

Yeah M33 has quite a bit going on which a lot of folks either don't know about or never considered. I have seen many of the NGC/IC objects and plan to do some more visual work on it next chance I get. I think I could eke out some more of its structure. :)
