M33 September Challenge from Kent UK

Post by Graeme1858 »

Here's my go at the September Challenge, my first light image from my new ZWO ASI294MC Pro. The field of view only shows the central core of M33. The image is composed of 20 x 180 second frames at -10°C captured on 12/09/20. I didn't capture any Flat frames as it got too late. My darks library didn't seem to stack very well so this one is stacked without Dark frames either.

Image

Not a great image but a good start with the new camera! Was hoping for a New Moon clear sky tomorrow but there's a chance of cloud now!

Regards

Graeme

Congrats on the new camera, Graeme. I always find it hard to get used to new equipment myself. But good start with this image!
