Yes it did take two nights. The thing is, when you process it after the first night and then added to a second night, you can really see the difference integration makes. It would really be nice to have dark skies so that you could collect the data in much less time, but it is what it is.
Heck, a few night ago, I went out to image M51 and thankfully I had about 160 minutes from a few weeks ago to add to it. I had all kinds of problems and didn’t get started until after 11 p.m.
