Rosette Nebula - March Northern Hemisphere target - from Kenya

Post by BABOafrica »

We had the clearest skies we had in a long time for a few nights in a row. Grabbed this one. Certainly my best capture this object so far.

57 x 180s with Meade 102mm on AVX using Fuji X-A2 (iso6400) (processed with darks-bias-flats using StarTools)

PS I'm using Flickr again. Somebody mentioned something about using the "full editor" tab. Not sure what that is...

Nice Rosette Joe. Great detail.

The Full Editor button is at the bottom of the screen and you have a choice of that or the Post Reply button. Or you can use the Quick Reply button for text only. If you start a new Topic like this one it's already defulted to Full Editor. So then you just click the Attachments tab and the Add Files button at the bottom.

Hope that helps.

Looking good, Joe. I like the way you have brought out the dark lanes, nice and sharp without overdoing things. Thanks for sharing your fine work.
