Just bought me a QHY Polemaster

I'm so excited to get out there and use this thing. It's a new gadget in my repertoire and it's always fun when you get the opportunity to learn new things. The clouds haven't cooperated yet so I haven't taken it out yet to try it but there are enough youtube videos out there on it to learn from. I'm hoping this will give me a visual to base my polar alignment on so I won't have to guess anymore based on what drift alignment is telling me.

Yeah, I just got mine a week ago. Solid clouds since then. I'm dying to find out how it will work out. I went to Cherry Springs State Park in PA and talked to about a half-dozen APers who were all incredulous that I did not have a Polemaster. 2 minute alignment they assured me. I know the first time or two will take longer, but I've done polar alignment in between 2 minutes and 30 minutes (which is terribly frustrating) for a couple of years now - with inconsistent results. Can't wait to try out the new toy! Best of luck with it.
