Stellarium Bug - Screen goes blank every minute or so

#1

Post by GCoyote »

I was running version 19. Upgraded to 20.3 and I'm still getting blank screens a few times per minute. Then it stabilizes, then starts again. Very annoying.
It's only started in the last month so I suspect either a Microsoft or anti-virus program is causing it. I tried turning off the AV software already so that wasn't it.
Anyone else on Windows 10 seeing this?

I haven't seen that. I have Stellarium (latest version) running on 2 different computers. One that's a 'hot rod' with a fast graphics card and another that is a NUC mini computer. No issues on either.

My gut says it's a graphics issue.

What happens if you go back to the version 19?

Seems to be fixed in the newest version.

The last version used to lock up when my laptop screensaver came on but that has been cured in 0.20.4.

I've not seen what you describe on laptop or pc Gary.
