SGP Plate solving at 1450 F/L

#1

Post by graywmj5 »

HI all,

I am not having any success getting SGP to plate solve at 1450 F/L on my C8. I am using the 6.3 reducer which changes the F/L to about 1450.
Camera is ASI294.

It was solving wonderfully when using the C8 with Hyperstar at 390 F/L

I seem to have the settings correct in the profile.

I have tried numerous exposure times for the subs in the plate solve tab, from 1 sec to 30 seconds.

I can solve quickly and dead center using APT.

If anyone has dealt with this or has an idea on where I am going wrong, please let me know.

Thanks in advance, Bill

I have a lot of issues myself with SGP and plate solving on my RC 10" at 2000mm. I prefer to use either ASTAP or All Sky Plate Solver. I have no problems with NINA plate solving, Just in SGP. I'll follow this thread to see what possible solutions pop up.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most! :tease:
