PHD2 Fustration

Post by lostone »

Are there any experts here in PHD2?

I'm getting frustrated with PHD2 lately. It's not the guiding that is frustrating me. It's my Display Graph. The think keeps vanishing on me and I can't get it back unless in completely uninstall PHD and Reinstall it. Under the View menu it is Checked, Unchecking and rechecking it makes no diffrence. I have gone through everything I can find but it's just GONE. I do use the graph and want it back. But I hate having to uninstall and reinstall something especially when I have to spend imaging time to run through the calibrations again.

If someone knows what is happening or know how to fix it, I'd really appreciate it.

Yes, I share your frustration, if not one thing it is another. So much so, that I went back to 1.14 and am happy.

Good luck,

Can you attach a debug log from a session where the graph disappeared? You will need to zip it first.
Just guessing I would suspect that the graph window is undocking
You can also get expert help from the PHD2 forum at https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgr ... hd-guiding

Dont' know when it vanishes, I shut things down and when I bring them back up, it's gone. How ever I did find a reset at the bottom of the view menu and that brought it back.

Do you use the computer with multiple monitors when you are not imaging? I have that problem with PixInsight on occasion. If I process using multiple monitors, some of the process icons, when expanded, show up off screen. It is difficult to get them back without going back to the two monitor configuration.
