The only one I use is Stellarium!

But I do use Heavens Above and Clear Outside for checking stuff on the move.

I only use Skysafari and Stellarium from the list.
If they included the AP apps they would have a more accurate representation.

I only use SkySafari from that (Both on the tablet/phone and computer). And I will be using it even more when I pick up the Nexus II.

I also use Clear Outside ALL of the time. I probably check it every couple of hours. I need help.

I've tried them all. The only 3 worth using are Sky Safari (my goto for everything but the ISS), Stellarium, and ISS Detector (my fav for the ISS).

Sky Safari on occasion. I also like Telescopius for planning and reviewing sessions, it's great for deep sky.

Cartes du Ciel, Virtual Lunar Atlas, Calsky, Meteoblue and occasionally Heavens Above.
A couple of different atlases inside for some notes.
Nothing electronic at the telescope other than a voice recorder and transistor radio.

There are a lot of good stations available
Other than coming on here at the start and end of my days a computer takes up very little of my day.
At times I feel the small amount I am online is to much as it is.

I actually do have it - bookmarked on the computer and the app. I use Clear Outside more often, but integrate MetoBlue when I remember.

The other thing I like about Meteoblue is the Weather Maps (left column)
It gives you a lot of current and upcoming meteorological information to help plan a session.

In another hobby area entirely, former Krause Publications president and former American Numismatic Association president Clifford Mishler had a speech he gave to local clubs encouraging people to learn from each other and asking us not to denigrate the experiences of others. So, it is with some caution that I must acknowledge that an app that works for you is a good tool to support your enjoyment of the hobby.

On the downside, one time at a star party we were hosting, this kid asks her dad, "Which one is Leo?" and he takes out his cellphone and points it to the sky. But Leo is one of the few that actually looks like what it is supposed to be. One of our outreach stalwarts just met with some cub scouts and showed them how to use their cellphones to get apps to read the sky. And I thought to myself, "you know, it's going to be harder when you are lost in the woods with no reception or your phone just went downstream when your canoe overturned, and you don't know the sky."
