Sustainable space exploration will harness microbes
Scalable bioreactors make more sense than either shipping supplies from Earth or trying to replicate farming, water cycles, CO2 cycles or other processes on an alien landscape.
Let the little guys do it!

Any metaphor will tear if stretched over too much reality.

Re: Sustainable space exploration will harness microbes
Hi Gary. A very interesting article. This is a fascinating concept... a complete microbial ecosystem to provide the needs for colonization of planetary outposts. Thanks for finding and sharing this excellent link with us Gary and the best of regards.
