"A Washington-state based aerospace company has exited stealth mode by announcing plans to develop one of the holy grails of spaceflight—a single-stage-to-orbit space plane. Radian Aerospace said it is deep into the design of an airplane-like vehicle that could take off from a runway, ignite its rocket engines, spend time in orbit, and then return to Earth and land on a runway."

That’s what I was thinking when reading the article and I noticed that in the article it stated that “ nasa priorities changed “ so that leaves you thinking ?

Re-usability has been proven to a point but there is no quick re-usability so far.
Though material science has developed significantly the last 20 years I do not think it is ready for the stresses of that type of repeated flight yet.

NASA's priorities change as Congress funding priorities change. Think about the times...
