Hopefully it will go well. Not only is the launch a risk but also the delicate unfolding of the telescope as it sits in orbit. I've read that if there any snafus they won't be able to send astronauts to fix something. It all has to be done remotely via commands from NASA's JPL I guess.

The launch is scheduled for Saturday,Dec . 25 at 7:20 a.m. ET
Those in Europe should see it at a decent hour during the day, for Pacific time zone residents it will be 4:20 am. 5:20 mountain time zone.
