Webb telescope launch date slips again

"Last summer, NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) set an October 31, 2021, launch date for the $10 billion telescope. The instrument, which is the largest science observatory ever placed into space, will launch on a European Ariane 5 rocket from a spaceport in French Guiana. Now, however, three considerations have pushed the launch into November or possibly early December."

At least it is not a problem with web this time but all of these delays crossed the border of being ridiculous a long time ago.

Hi Stephen. Well, isn't this nice. It's been delay after delay and constant cost overruns. I also read awhile back where two instruments in the original plans won't be included in this mission. I sure hope that they get the James Webb Space Telescope launched sometime later this year, as now at 31 years old, the Hubble Space Telescope isn't going to last forever. Looking forward to the launch of the James Webb Space Telescope and some data from it. I`d like to mention the Ariel space telescope which is aimed at searching for some exoplanets and Earth-alike planets.
