Space colonies... around Ceres?
I'm an optimist about space colonization. Really, I am. But I am nowhere near this optimistic, in regard to the timeframe:
"Humans could move to this floating asteroid belt colony in the next 15 years, astrophysicist says."

Ah, if only! We were all born far too soon, my friends. Too soon. As a child, I watched the moon landings. I hope to see a human walk upon the surface of Mars sometime before I die. And that may still happen.

Re: Space colonies... around Ceres?
I am definitely NOT optimistic about space colonization. The radiation problem is nowhere near solved. But I'll grant that though the time frame is laughably optimistic for this idea in search of a plan it strikes me as having a better chance of success than Mars colonization.
I do love the sci fi of The Expanse, though. I'm enjoying the current season.
