As wide field Astro photography is where my interest lies, I am wondering about a modified setup.
1) 0.63 reducer for SE 6
SCT, Bresser full HD deep sky can, Orion Atlas Pro AZ/
EQ go to mount, with a Baader fringe killer for my Celestron 102. Advantages, flexible, existing mount can be used for star parties (when I retire I want to set up an Astronomy club in my Village).
EQ mount improvement on tracking/exposure for deep sky.
2) More directed to personal use; Spacecat
APO 250mm, Star Watcher Adventurer Pro tracker, Altair GPCAM3 290C . Purpose designed, but less flexible option and does not make use of or improve existing kit.
Reasonable investment either way, musing over which way to go.
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Tony.
