what might have been- dance of two comets
Ah what might have been.
This animation from Starry Night shows the dance of the inner planets, Moon and passage two comets currently on their way to the inner solar system during May and June. The core of comet ATLAS has now broken into three fragments and won't be nearly as bright as shown. Both comets also battle twilight/sunlight.
To enhance visibility, I have turned off daylight. Each step is 24 hrs starting May 1 and finishing June 30.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to see this.
