Is it a glitch?? I cannot believe it is real, right? But both Skysafari 5plus ans Skysafari 6 pro on my phone shows this, mag. 0.8, and visually it fills the whole fov! What is more, it says it will brighten more, until 0.2 in the net few weeks. It is in Ursa Major now.

It's not real right? I cannot check it, it is cloudy. On other sites it is shown mag. 17 or what. What gives? Is skysafari losing it?

SkySafari tracks comets positions correctly, but magnitudes almost always off. On the other hands asteroid magnitudes seems to be always accurate. They obviously relying on some external server for predictions.

Comet Chasing gives comet magnitudes which track well.

Thanks for the responses. How can such a thing happen? I mean, we ay for it and all. They can be sued. Do they not see the glitch? Do they not care?

It is a glitch coming maybe from the database cuz in Stellarium is also magnitud minus something.

I saw that, went out and like....where is it? 😂
