Scroll through the solarsystem (takes a while)

Post by Chich »

Normal scrolling takes a very long time. Even on fast scroll its a bit.

You see how (relatively) fast the inner planets zip by and then how much the distances stretch out with the outer planets.

Whole lot of nothing out there!

I remember seeing this a few years back I think, or something similar.. Thanks, though, that is still really neat!

I love the source code. That's one wide HTML table with some interesting math going on there :D

All the best,
Mark

BTW Chich, it's not a complaint or anything, but is your sig file image meant to look like this?

If it is, I'm not trying to be a 'smart-butt', but if it isn't, it may just work for you...

I see the RASC seal and RASC logo presently, though I have also seen the "you are not allowed to view" message that Mark is presently seeing before as well. Seems to be intermittent.

Refresh; no, nothing.... I just tried on my Android 8 tablet and my daughters iPhone 8; same thing. I don't want to take away from the OP's thread, just thought I'd mention it.
And it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it was something on my end; I have reason to believe my router is evil, honestly....

No joy here plus I'm seeing quite a few " You are not authorized " in the Gallery. Have I been misbehaving ?

Not intermittent here. "You are not authorized to view" message is permanent.

I just had a look through the gallery. A few "this image does not exist" but the several albums I looked at were all fine.

Maybe this should move to the one of the forums under "MISC" ?
