Hi nFA. A very interesting article and brings to mind the Titus-Bode's Law. This law predicted the distance in astronomical units from the sun of planets in our solar system. It is amazingly accurate until you get out to Neptune and the Kuiper Belt. A few astronomers still work with this law expecting to find some kind of a "harmonic resonance". However, it did predict the distance of the asteroid belt (most notably with Ceres). But instead of a planet, we have loose chunks of a planet that never coalesced, probably due to the "gap" as described in this article.
