I was checking out the IMO's Visual Meteor Database and for most years the Perseids are pretty active for several days around their nominal peak.

Since my local forecast for Thursday the 12 is crap, I plan to sit out tomorrow night and see how many I can catch.

Check your forecast and don't miss out.
