Wow, I knew that there was a bunch of junk up there, but this is really sad and very irresponsible.

It is really amazing that nothing has been done to control/regulate the trash. Kind of embarrassing.

Like one of the commentors on the site, I take exception to the Tesla Roadster as Space Junk (or as listed as Earth-orbiting Space Junk).

I'm also puzzled by the article author claiming that "It was hard for me growing up in England to get details about space because the media there weren't as interested in it as the U.S. media". Which Country had Sir Patrick Moore and his record-breaking run of "The Sky at Night" on BBC from '57 until '12 ??
