ESA is backing a bold proposal to create a commercially viable constellation of satellites around the Moon.

It's not a terrible idea. Sort of depends on the other big players agreeing to communications standards though does it not?
Any metaphor will tear if stretched over too much reality.

As if we don't have enough problems with satellite constellations in Earth orbit and now they want to pollute the lunar skies? Madness!
Scopes: 200mm f6 DOB:CR 6 150 mm f 7.5 refractor, SW ED 80 mm f 7.5. 2 X 80 mm f7.5 guides.
