Re: Hubble image NGC 5394 & 5395
From 3 August 2016:
4.NGC 5395 - Spiral Galaxy in Canes Venatici - 22:06:36 - NEW - H3 - I'm already picking up some breath fog on the background at 84x. Even at 109x, this glow remains very diaphanous and hard to pick out. Bumping to 138x, more of the same, though my breath fog seems to have elongated, or stretched out to form yet another dim exhalation immediately to the left. Both of these whiffs of light require averted vision for me to see. Mag 12.30, size 2.6 x 1.4 arcmin, SB 12.91 mag/arcmin².
5.NGC 5394 - Spiral Galaxy in Canes Venatici - 22:12:38 - NEW - See above. Mag 13.60, size 2.2 x 1.0 arcmin, SB 13.71 mag/arcmin².
