The Event Horizon Telescope showed that M87's Black Hole is as expected.

Mixed brand Masuyama/Astroplans Binoculars: Nikon Aculon 10x50, Celestron 15x70, Baader Maxbright. Mounts: Star Seeker IV, Vixen Porta II, Celestron CG5

The answer to that is, of course, no. Black holes are event horizons, not singularities. The existence of event horizons and therefore black holes is beyond reasonable doubt.

Two comments.
1. Occam's Razor.... Current model works just fine "mostly"
