BTW, is there a word in English for the "apparent wind", like when you drive a motorcycle?
This "ram pressure" brought that in mind (again).
Google doesn't seem to be my friend here.

In Finnish we have "ajoviima" which is something like "driving draught" or "driving breeze" translated literally.
It's understood as any "apparent wind" due to (fast) movement through (still) air.
