True but developing a large sample mitigates the problem somewhat. It provides a catalog from which repeaters might emerge. Also one might characterize classes of events.

I think I read that they already are starting to see patterns (Sky News magazine, probably).
Sigh - the stock photo is NOT of the CHIME telescopes.
