SWaB: Are we living in a baby universe that looks like a black hole to outsiders?

Well it's nice but it doesn't cover the big picture.
In Einstein-Cartan-Sciama-Kibble gravity (ECSK or Einstein-Cartan for shorter) this is exactly how cosmology proceeds. Ethan believes inflation to be true and so ignores that the Big Bounces that occur in ECSK render inflation unnecessary. Fans of inflation have the embarrassment that for the inflation field there is no easy identification of the corresponding particle except, maybe, the Higgs boson. Issues remain though.

so how do you propose to test that hypothesis?

hmmm...first we consult the Necronomicon, then work forbidden ritual number 142 - the one written in bright red ink, surrounded by dire warnings
Were such feasible, Fritz probably has a couple of old colleagues who'd actually attempt such...

One more reason to like ECSK thenpakarinen wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 1:41 pmEhhhhh, I still think inflation is a kludge.notFritzArgelander wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 12:56 am [...] ECSK render inflation unnecessary.
