I worked out some time ago that the next total eclipse where I live is in 2987 (yes, that is 2987!), just after dawn: but there are hills to the east. Rats... 
I haven't tried to work out when the next "cross" will be here, but it looks like it wont be anytime soon!

Telescopes: 12" f5 dob, Celestron CPC800, 150mmf5 Celestron achro, Tak TSA102, TV76, ETX125...
Binos: Steiner Wildlife XP 10x26, Swarovski 8x30 Habicht, Zeiss SFL 8x40, Vanguard Endeavour 10.5x45, Fuji FMTR-SX 10x50, Tak 22x60, Orion Resolux 15x70
Eyepieces: way too many (is that possible?), but I do like my TV 32mm plossl, 13mm Nagler T6, 27mm Panoptic and 3-6mm Nagler zoom, plus Fujiyama 18mm and 25mm orthos and Tak 7.5mm LE

In South Africa we will have to wait till 25th November 2030. It is going to be dead centre about 200 Km (160 miles) from me In Kroonstad and Bethlehem, two towns In the Free State, it will also beheading south into KZ Natal near to where Clinton is staying....we can only hope that we would be around to witness and record it!
