With the Sun getting a little higher in the sky here it can't be much longer before I can kick start my imaging once more. Anyone else in the same boat as me ?

Fingers crossed. I have been considering, but a) it's too windy and b) my 120mm has packed up so I'm scouting for alternatives. Is there a better option I keep wondering, especially as ZWO no longer support said camera....

It certainly will be this weekend. We have amber warnings of 60-70 mph winds in Kent, I shudder to think what Aberdeenshire will be like, what's your forecast?

Regards

Graeme

We had winds of 75 MPH last week one afternoon. It even blew over five huge electrical transmission towers coming out of Hoover Dam.

Alexa doesn't do winds on her forecasts :D

But aye the forecast is for gales - it would be good to see my wind vane exceed 48kts for once :D

Geoff. I have an Imaging Source 21 and 51 doing nothing but they only work with USB2. Let me know if you want to try either one and I'll gladly send it to you.

I had a go last weekend in white light. I've seen better-looking egg yolks.

I need to pick up some Baader film. This Thousand Oaks stuff ain't cutting the mustard for me. :)

Recorded a gust of 51kts around tea-time. Almost calm this morning, though pressure's plummeting.
