I am trying to think about what I will do with my $350,000,000 when I win the lottery in the next couple days. Some sort of remote observatories (notice the plural) N and S hemispheres

I did very, very little solar imaging in 2021 with my Lunt 80mm Ha scope. I'll have to rectify that problem in 2022.

Just checked gong, not much going on, one interesting proms BUT it is 14 degrees F. here with a 10 mph wind and gusts to 30 mph, windchill feels like is ZERO Fahrenheit.

To me that is COLD! If the sun was spectacular I would dress up like Randy in the Christmas Story and go out but for a normal sun it is a bit cold for me

Greeting fellow solar heads,

I did get some images of AR2936 yesterday (29th) and made a post here.

I use a DSLR with an 80mm f/11.4 achro, then I crop them with PIPP, align and stack with AS3! and some post-processing in ImPPG. I thought to put the images in a ZIP file along with the planets image I use, and am wondering if anyone wants to play with it all.

This is the link for the ZIP file; it's a bit over 170MB in size.

Any questions let me know, and I'd like to see what others get from it all! :D
