Has anyone been checking out sunspot activity of late? The daily activity is currently showing 9 sunspot groups: https://www.spaceweatherlive.com/en/solar-activity.html.
I hadn't checked in lately and this seems like a significant increase.

I’ve been keeping an eye on the solar conditions. It has really improved long distance HF radio propagation via the ionosphere. We’ve been in a sunspot drought for soooo long. Bring it on!

Well, if I ever get clear skies... yesterday ol' Sol had 10 spots, the most since 2011; the peak of the last solar cycle. And this one's only starting...
