Is anyone imaging the current sun spot activity?
Hi all,
I see on the GONG site that we have a pretty significant area of sun spot activity!
Is anyone planning to try some imaging? I'm about to set up my visual equipment.

I would Stephen, except it's almost sunset
Just call me Geoff....

I saw it was starting to get interesting late yesterday afternoon. But this morning I have a doctors appointment so don't know if I can get time to catch it or not.

Re: Is anyone imaging the current sun spot activity?
I got some spectacular white light observations in! Compared to the blank yellow ball I've been looking at for the past couple of years, this was excellent!
I gaveHa a try, but with my setup, eyes, and capability, I wasn't able to get a sharper image that I was getting in white light, so I went back to white light to savor that again. Some high thin clouds rolled in (I was afraid of that!) so I took a break, leaving my equipment set up in hopes of getting some more observing time in a bit later.
Hopefully, someone will get some images of this soon.
