Pardon me while I kick my solar rig. LOL

I'm not really "a fan" of much. We all do good work some of the time. However, I make an exception when it comes to the best solar imager in the world... A Brit named Alexandra Hart. When she enters a contest, everyone else is playing for second place.

She goes by a couple of names on various solar forums... solarnutcase and Montana. She does a lot of research and writes some of the best solar tutorials you'll ever read. Here's one example...
https://solarnutcase.livejournal.com/18572.html

Here's a single-frame shot she made of the ISS transit of the sun a couple of months ago...

Shot with a Lunt CaK wedge / 100mm refractor / ASI174

If one doesn't like that, there's no hope. I encourage anyone who is doing this crazy "sport" to read everything she has written... Her early work with a Quark is what convinced me to start using one.:)

Just sharing.

Just call me Geoff....

I do what I do because I can, and because I want to.
It doesn't mean I know what I'm doing

Thanks for the link John!

I have read some of her stuff before and she does have a 'handle' on solar work.
