The object of today's practice was to use Blend If (BI) in Photoshop, and changing the black sky blue would challenge me to work harder. If your are not familiar with BI I recommend watching Blake Rudus' videos, as he does some amazing things with the tool. Here's a link to just one of several that he puts out...

In the screen shots below, there are only four layers... The bottom one is your image; moving upward layer 2 is simply a background copy; the third layer is a simple adjustment layer that I filled with blue; and the last is simply a Vibrance layer that lets me change the overall vibrance & saturation of all layers below.
First, we'll turn the blue adjustment layer off to see the black sky... Now, we'll turn the blue adjustment layer on... If that were all there was to it, I wouldn't be writing this. However, there is much more to it. Blend If gives the user absolute blending and color correction controls in all four channels...
One final note... Discerning Photoshop users will notice that the mask in the blue adjustment layer is disconnected. I did that mask when starting practice, but quickly found that I didn't need it, it's easier to disconnect it than delete it.
No pixels were harmed in this thread... Thanks for tuning in.
