I've been shooting the sun through the smoke from several California wildfires for over a week.
The folks at www.fire.airnow.gov have been providing updates on a regular basis. The map this morning shows that I have a little clear air between two (gray) bands of smoke north & south of my location. However, looking at the morning sky there is still a bit of lingering smoke that I'll have to deal with.
It's only going to be 101 °F around noon with 8% relative humidity. Hopefully, I'll get a shot in.
