I would also like to add that just like all scopes quality control is important thats why the known makes , like Skywatcher , Celestron, Orion , WO, ,etc are better bet ,they are all probably made in China now but if you get a scope with an unknown maker its a 50/50

Wow. I don't own a Mak (yet?), but I never would have thought of that.
This will work for any lens or mirror.
