On September 26 I imaged the area where comet C/2018 W2 was supposed to be (First image). I did this by entering the position given by the Sky Live Website into user objects on the LX90. Although it looked like it might be the comet it could also have been an NGC object or what ever. I loaded the image into Astrometry.net but it did not identify any fuzzies, or indeed anything else, in the image just its position in the sky. I don't think I have ever had that happen before. To be sure I imaged the same area of sky on October 4 (Image 2). My fuzzy had moved on so I guess it was C/2018 W2. I can see why Charles Messier made his list. Bear with me on the attachments, I have not tried this before.
