Expecting clearing skies overnight, I got up early this morning to see what there was to see. There were still lots of high thin clouds, so there was little opportunity to look for other objects, but the Moon was bright enough to penetrate the thing clouds, and seeing was good, so I got a good look at the Moon. A few example features to highlight -- Reiner Gamma, the last remnants of Walther's sunset ray, and Mons Piton was showing a nice long shadow.
